How does the hair catcher work in the washbasin?
The comb-shaped hair catcher is attached directly to the CleanDrain water outlet. Hair and other residues in the water get trapped in the comb teeth before they reach the trap.
To clean Geberit CleanDrain, simply take it out and remove any dirt from the comb. After cleaning, the drain with the comb insert can be easily reinserted into the ceramic thanks to the magnetic bracket.
How do I clean the washbasin drain?
Over time, hair and other residues collect in the comb insert at the back of the CleanDrain outlet. Cleaning the screen is easy and should be carried out at regular intervals.
The drain can be removed in a single motion, allowing any hair or soap residue to be removed with ease.
