A veteran professional in his field, Mr Tang Kok Thye has a wealth of experience as former Board Member of the Building and Construction Authority (BCA), Co-Chair of BCA’s Green Built-Environment Advisory Committee (GBAC), and Associate Partner of ADDP Architects – which is his current appointment.

ADDP Architects is a leading architectural practice based in Singapore, and has contributed greatly to Singapore’s built environment. This includes being the first to introduce pre-fabricated construction methods in the country and currently completing the tallest PPVC project in the world. ADDP displays such a strong commitment to green and sustainable building designs, that it is one of the first architectural firms to be certified ISO 14001 – Environmental Management System.

Mr Tang’s work is imbued with this passion for sustainable building. In addition to his role at ADDP, Mr Tang has been appointed president of the Singapore Green Building Council in 2021, for which he is tasked with implementing the Singapore Green Building Masterplan.

“We look for like-minded partners to collaborate with to design and build green buildings.” Mr Tang responds when asked how he can contribute towards a greener built environment.
