What are the limits of press connections?
Press connections are suitable for various pipe materials up to a diameter of d108 / DN 100.
Screw connections or welding joints are currently used for larger dimensions. As there are structural gaps between the pipe and the fitting during pressing, pressed joints are not suitable for any fluids that require a completely gap-free connection.
Are press connections suitable for aggressive or chemical fluids?
Geberit MapressPressing systems are suitable for a wide range of fluids, including chemicals. In many cases, it depends on the medium, its concentration, the operating parameters and the desired piping system.
